Thai & Tiffany

We found a restaurant in Pasadena, Daisy Mint, that we really like.  We got there thinking it was Vietnamese, but it turned out to be Thai.  Oh well.  Still delicious with great decor.  Antique-looking birdcages, exposed brick, crystal, orchids, empty frames.  Sort of the exact opposite of the Thai place I used to frequent during school--Tamarind House, which had 70s decor that reminded me of the Regal Beagle from Three's Company.
We had a pre-anniversary dinner at Daisy Mint last week, and then walked around Colorado Blvd to see the holiday lovelies.  The Tiffany holiday displays with the papercut goodness made me swoon.
